Pioneer Animal Clinic offers 24-hour emergency services for both small and large animals, with an on-call veterinarian available after business hours and on weekends. Such emergencies can include (but are not limited to) major cuts/wounds, fractures, eye injuries, hit by car, difficult birthing, colic, and rattlesnake bites.

If your emergency is during business hours please be prepared to give our friendly receptionists your name, phone number, your animal’s information, and the nature of your emergency.  They will forward the information to one of our knowledgeable technicians and/or doctors to begin triage and preparation for your arrival.

For after-hours emergencies, call the main phone number shown below and follow the prompts to contact our on-call veterinarian.  If there is no answer from the veterinarian, please leave a detailed message with the information listed below on the voicemail. Our veterinarian may be working on another emergency and will call you back as soon as they can!

  • Call 308-635-3188
  • Press “2”. There will be a long pause after pressing “2” before being directed to the on-call veterinarian. Please wait.

    • Your Name
    • Your phone number(s) where you can be reached
    • Your animal’s information: name, species, age, sex
